- Explain that beyond school work, science itself is a massive massive topic, that actually covers so many things like space science, lasers, the human body, robots, submarines, living on the moon, Nasa, chemistry, medicine, computers and silicon, metals, lava, volcanoes, climate change, and of course, the solutions to many many problems in the world. Think of the problem with energy and how we are trying to stop using fossil fuels, and switch to better things like solar power, wind power, or even nuclear power and fusion power. The way we design things like materials, new ways to grow food, new ways to make cities better, and so on.
