ESL Writing Test for Ages 8-11

Part 1: Short Answer Responses (20 minutes)

Part 2: Paragraph Writing (20 minutes)

  • Topic: Write a paragraph about a memorable day you had. Describe what happened, who was there, and why it was memorable.

Part 3: Simple Narrative Essay (20 minutes)

  • Topic: Write a short story about a time you helped someone or someone helped you. What happened? How did it make you feel?
